Rich grew up in South Florida, making him a long-suffering Miami Dolphins fan. He is also a proud alumnus of both Stetson University and the University of Florida. Rich’s diverse writing career includes stints as a sports reporter, ad agency proofreader, textbook editor, and travel writer.

A published author, Rich has written on subjects ranging from The Doors and Guns N’ Roses to Breaking Bad and punk rock. He and his wife Nadine live in Mount Dora. They have two college-age kids, Hailey and Dylan, who recently graduated from FGCU and UCF respectively. On weekends, Rich enjoys hiking, browsing in used bookstores, watching obscure movies and visiting Florida historic sites.
